Biomass Gasification
Depending upon the nature of your feedstock and its moisture content, gasification may be the most economical way to convert your biomass into energy and marketable byproducts.
Although initially considered more costly to install than a BioGas system, we have performed guided studies at a major state university that show the true economy of gasification. Much of the cost concern related to the scale of gasification that has been considered and used in the past, but smaller and more efficient units have been proving themselves effective.
Gasifiers have the added advantage of being able to use many different waste streams to produce the gas that is used to power turbines and generators. Excess power can be sold back to the grid, and this use of biomass qualifies for many government and N.G.O. funding programs, tax incentives, production and carbon credits.
Resource Recovery Group will research your specific operation in detail to determine if gasification is right for you. We'll provide a cost/benefit pro-forma for your individual case. If you decide to proceed, we'll be with you all the way to insure your system operates as designed and intended.
