BioGas from Waste

BioGas is mostly methane (at lower concentration than natural gas) and carbon dioxide. It has a few 'dirty' components that are easily filtered out. BioGas is now fueling agricultural, industrial and commercial process and power facilities in Europe and the United States.

Biogas can operate power turbines to produce AC power for your facility, or power can be sold back to the grid. The heat given off by generators can be recycled back for use by your facility.

BioGas can also be cleaned further and processed into natural gas with higher levels of methane, acceptable for use as natural gas standard fuel. You can use it for your facility's process heat. Some natural gas companies will buy it from you - it can be fed directly into the existing gas grid!

Compressed natural gas vehicles are already available from companies like Honda. Fleet and farm vehicles can be converted to run on locally-stored compressed natural gas.

Depending on the 'feedstock' material and its moisture content, BioGas may be the most inexpensive and cost-effective way to use your biomass. Valuable byproducts are created during the production process. Value-adding financial and tax incentives and grant programs now exist to help implement your project.

Let Resource Recovery Group investigate this possibility for your specific facility. Biomass is an energy source unlimited by time or weather.
