Overview
Waste is our clients' 'feedstock'. The products we help them achieve are: higher efficiency; new usable or marketable energy; valuable byproducts; additional income and lower costs. New profits are reclaimed from waste.
Waste includes heat, cold, motion, power, water, less-than-efficient processes or equipment, and (typically) leftover carbon-based material with greater potential for value than currently being utilized.
A few quick examples of waste material include: waste wood; livestock waste; poultry litter; vegetable and fruit cuttings/trimmings; meat or poultry trimmings; and wine-grape pomace that is only used as field-applied fertilizer or road fill without first extracting and using more of its valuable assets.
Our services are: the careful study of our clients' operations and facilities to isolate inefficiency or waste; research to determine where value can be added to client operations and products; the discriminating review of technologies and systems to find those tested, effective, and best suited for our client's specific conditions; and investigation of and application for available non-traditional sources of funds.
Our products depend on the level of work we are hired for. The following is the breakdown of our 4 tiers of products:
Tier 1 - Preliminary overview investigation with client review of report.
Tier 2 - Greater focus on areas of interest (identified in Tier 1) with basic pro-forma of the items of focus.
Tier 3 - Very detailed analysis of each final item of focus including a detailed pro-forma of that item.
Tier 4 - Funding application, design/build management, commissioning and start-up. We set up maintenance and operation programs.
