Resource Recovery Group was founded by Milt Geffen of Kennewick, Washington.

Milt has:
  • Success at funding, designing and completing a significant heat-waste recovery program for a large state prison. Awarded utility rebates that improved return-on-investment from 5 years to 2-1/2 years.
  • Initiated a food and wet-paper waste-to-energy program currently in funding stage for the same state prison.
  • LEED Silver Certification was attained by this large prison campus - the 1st known in the USA.
  • Significant experience with program and proposal writing, grant applications, and community organization creation including a large farmers market and credit union cooperative.
  • Hands-on experience in producing 'business plans' and funding proposals, and in successfully securing business funding.
  • Hands-on farming experience. Diverse commercial crops include field corn, soybeans, oats, alfalfa, and straw. The farm included a small fruit orchard and table grapes, black walnut trees, and livestock.
  • B.S. in Industrial Technology/Building Construction Northern Michigan University.
  • 12 years construction management of design/build large industrial and commercial projects for 'top 30' AE/CM/GC firms - including chemical and food processing; commercial laundry facilities; cement plant; silicon wafer plant; airports; arenas and stadiums, and one of the nations largest prisons.
  • 14 years as a nationally prominent general contractor, licensed in over 20 states performing specialty design/build/equipment contracts. Projects included large food services, medical/dental facilities, airports, stadiums, arenas, and convention centers.
